Solanum melongena
Indian variety for greenhouse and outdoor use with light green, elongated fruits.
The strain is bred by Kerala Agricultural University in southern India. The plants grow about 60 cm high and have a good fruit set. The plants are robust, but express slight bitter substances, which are e.g. intensified under heat stress.
